Insulation

    Vents

    Ventilation channels between your rafters/trusses offer unobstructed airflow through your attic to your soffit. Without the channels air cannot flow freely from the soffit to the exhaust vents reducing circulation. The channels also allow for loose-fill insulation to be blown into every corner and crevice of your attic giving you better insulation value.

    Roof Turbines use wind power to draw air in and moisture out of the attic. By drawing out the moisture it is again an important factor in mold and mildrew control. Turbines also play reducing build up of hot air in the summer and the cold moist air in the winter. The turbines will work in conjunction with your channels to maintain the proper air flow throughout your attic. This ensures that you are getting the best energy savings from your insulation.

    Standard exhaust vents will work based on the circulation of air coming through your soffit and will exit your attic through these vents. It is important that you have the proper number of exhaust vents installed based on the size of your home to allow the right air circulation.

    Roof Jacks should be properly installed. Connected to an insulated hose which will run to your fans in bathrooms and throughout your home.
